Careers
This is not a normal place to work.
We are a network of human nodes and AI nodes, not a hierarchy of boxes. We hire for hunger, not skills — and we treat our own workplace as a lab for everything we help other organizations become.
Introduce yourselfOur mission
We change the way organizations start, scale, and transform in the AI-driven enterprise era.
How you grow
Two mentors. One human, one that never clocks out.
We help every person on this team become the best possible version of themselves professionally, through a mix of human mentoring and AI mentoring. We hire AI experts — but if you're not one yet, we'll help you get there.
Career coaching and professional development
An AI career coach works alongside you every single day, not just at review time. It gives you just-in-time feedback to help you improve in the moment, and where it makes sense and is appropriate, it informs the human-to-human conversations you have with your manager — so those conversations start from the fullest possible picture of your work, not a fraction of it.
Rubberband
Rubberband is the tool we built to help you build the best possible habits with AI. It works alongside you every day, notices when you start doing something manually that AI could have done for you just as well — without compromising quality, safely and responsibly — and gives you a gentle nudge in the moment it happens.
Not an org chart
Traditional org charts describe who reports to whom. Ours describes how knowledge flows.
We run as a network of human nodes and AI nodes arranged around one central knowledge graph. Every node does its work with AI, and everything every node does lands back in the graph — contributing knowledge isn't extra work, it's the byproduct of working in the open. When work leaves the graph — a draft, a deck, an answer, a decision — an AI node produces the first pass and a human node reviews it.
Flat by design
Each node owns an area and makes the final call in it after honest debate. Decision speed is a competitive advantage, and hesitation is a form of latency.
Charters, not job descriptions
A charter tells you what you own, where to start, and what winning looks like — and fully expects you to play outside it. We are down for whatever, and everyone pitches in anywhere.
A compounding graph
The value of the network compounds with every node, human or AI, that reads from and writes to the same graph. Most companies lose what their people learn. We keep all of it, and every node gets smarter because of it.
How we work
The agreements we prioritize from everyone, human and AI alike.
Debate, constructively
If you care about something, argue for it, and bring data. Attack ideas, never people. Once the owner makes the call, we commit.
Zero tolerance for drama
Conflict about ideas is required. Conflict about people is banned. Drama is the human version of technical debt — it compounds quietly and taxes everything.
Nothing AI-generated ships unread
We never send anyone anything AI-generated without a human reading every line of it first. Every deliverable that leaves the building gets reviewed by at least one human node.
The v0 rule
Default first to AI to create things and answer questions. If you catch yourself staring at a blank page or formatting cells by hand, stop — that work starts with a prompt.
Our workplace is a lab
We treat our own environment as a lab so we can showcase the latest and greatest in how organizations operate. Expect to work in ways most companies won't adopt for years. That's the point.
Everything can be scrutinized
We operate as if everything we put out could come under heavy scrutiny immediately or years from now. It has to hold up to the highest standard either way.
Who thrives here
We hire for hunger, not skills.
In priority order. Skills are the easiest of these five to teach.
Energy
Charisma and drive. Modest intelligence without energy will not get the job done.
Intelligence
IQ and EQ, because we do business with and through other people.
Experience
Specific on-the-job or life experience that maps to what we're building.
Integrity
Do you do what you say you're going to do? Everyone says yes — so we ask how you've failed.
Organizational fit
Are you one of us? Is there real chemistry with how we operate?
What you get
Simple benefits. Real ownership. Full investment expected in return.
What we're building is complex enough to demand real focus. In exchange, you get outsized upside when you drive outsized results, a level of trust and decision-making authority most places take years to earn, and feedback at a resolution no single manager could give you alone.
Frequently asked
Questions from people considering joining.
What does "hire for hunger, not skills" actually mean?
Skills are teachable. Energy is not. We look for energy and drive first, then intelligence (IQ and EQ, because this business runs through other people), then real experience, then integrity of commitment, then whether there's genuine chemistry with how we operate. We'll ask you how you've failed — everyone claims to keep their commitments, so that's the more honest question.
Is there an org chart I can see before I apply?
Not in the traditional sense. We run as a network of human nodes and AI nodes arranged around one shared knowledge graph, not a hierarchy of boxes and reporting lines. Every node owns an area and makes the final call in it after debate — decision-making is flat by design.
Do you have specific open roles posted?
We hire around hunger and fit more than a fixed slate of job descriptions. If what you've read here sounds like you, introduce yourself and tell us where you think you'd create the most value — we'll figure out the shape of the role together.
What's the AI-native part actually like day to day?
AI does the first draft of almost everything — decks, code, research, outreach — and a human reviews it before anything ships. Meetings get captured, decisions get logged to a shared knowledge graph, and you get feedback not just from the handful of colleagues who saw a fraction of your work, but from AI that saw all of it.
Is this remote, and what's the pace like?
We work in the way the mission needs, not on a fixed schedule — early, late, and on weekends when it matters, with no expectation of an immediate reply outside of it. If you're the kind of person who wants to complain about the hours, this probably isn't the right fit, and that's a useful thing to know about yourself before you join.
Tell us how you've failed.
We don't hire off a fixed list of postings. If the network of nodes, the hunger-over-skills approach, and the pace of it all sound like you, introduce yourself.
