ComLynx? no (No thanks)
The story line gives you some feeble plot about some bloke who nicks some nuclear waste from his workplace and puts it in his fridge and his brussel sprouts come alive. Hmm, this means this is a sideways scrolling beat em up which you have to kill these mutated food people and work you way down the screen, the monsters want to kill you equally keenly and fight back.
A typical stab at this game means that you try and get close to your opponent, try unsucessfully to hit/kick him, and get a bit dead in the process. Luckily some energy ball things (I did not have instructions for this game, either) appear and you really do need these as your energy takes a tumble with each alien you meet.
Overall I thought this game was dreadful, the controls are appalling and trying to hit an enemy is tricky, things might improve if you stick at it, but to be honest I could not be bothered, I just switched off, pulled the cart out and slapped in one of my usual favourites, you will too when you find out this game is bobbins.
If you like beat em ups (I don't) you might think my rating is too harsh, you might want to try it, but I would not pay a lot for this cart without looking at it first. But there are a lot of games much better than this.
Overall: 33%
Good Points: Eh?
Bad Points: Aaagh!!!
